Decided to do this tag from Christine at Little Red Bow!
1. Name a beauty regime that you rarely do.
Facials. Just cannot find the time even at home I be waiting around like that.
2. Is washing your makeup brushes something you do regularly?
I go through times when I am using them daily so I wash them every day or every other. Then I get a new foundation or the like and stop using brushes so lately I haven't washed any...
3. How long will you last with chipped nail polish?
I go days even a couple weeks because again I do not find the time... I used to be big on manis though *tear*
4. How long do you put off buying/replacing a beauty or nail polish product even if you need it? (i.e purchasing a new topcoat, or a new foundation etc.)
I tend to buy a replacement product before it runs out because I think it will run out that week. Then, what happens is it actually lasts me a few more weeks lol #pointless
5. What is your worst beauty habit?
Wearing too much makeup? I'm just not comfortable being bare faced...
6. Name something non-beauty related that you put off doing all the time?
Booking appointments, exercising, taxes, etc basically come the middle of the work week you can't get me to do too much...
7. When going out somewhere, do you leave getting ready until the last minute or not?
When going to work: yes. When going out on the weekend: no. I start early and take my sweet, intricate time.
8. Can you commit to spending bans?
I can be good and not think about buying new stuff but inevitably I run out of something, or something gets ruined and I must go shopping.
9. How organised is your makeup and nail polish collection?
Makeup: pretty organized. Nail polishes: are in a bucket so not at all ;)
10. What is the longest amount of time you have gone without writing a blog post?
Days, weeks... I feel guilty though and want to improve!
I tag: Anyone who wants to just like Christine :)

Target Canada Haul
Truly regretting my lack of updates as of late but if you follow me on twitter you will know my work life has been extra challenging the past few weeks (and from now on) and that I also coloured my hair (RED!!!) but more on this later...
Right now I want to share my thoughts on Target Canada in case you will be attending one of their new stores tomorrow or this week! I was quite excited for them to open and here is my little haul:
1. NYX 'Collection Noir' Satin Finish Black Liner in BEL03

I swatched a number of their eye liners and this one seemed to have the best staying power when I attempted to rub it off my hand in store. I was right and this has been a great liner for me so far (will do a full review soon).
2. NYX Jumbo Lip Pencil in 724 Chaos.

Again, same deal, I came. I swatched. I bought. Great staying power and it actually seems to set in place to a more matte finish compared to when you first put it on. Lasted right through eating and drinking!

3. Mossimo Boyfriend Cardigan in Black

Peak at my new hair!

Has a great light texture that I know I will be wearing right through spring. $20 and good quality!
4. Vornado Flippi Personal Circulator

Bought this to use at work, was cute and different from other desk fans out there. Also, you can rotate it to different angles!
As for the other new cosmetic brands to be available in Canada, such as Pixi, I personally was not impressed with their products and any swatches I took in store. Sonia Kashuk brushes looked good (what was left of them) but I am not needing any new ones for my collection at the moment.
I was interested in some of their shoes and Nate Berkus home products but at that point everything had been picked apart.
Overall, I will still be loyal to Wal-mart because they have better prices on every day items. For special purchases and home items though Target will definitely be a place I keep my eyes on!
Have you gone to a Target yet? Let me now what you thought :)

Review - Revlon ColorStay Concealer
After hearing a number of good reviews (some even saying this was a HG product!) and needing a new concealer I decided to give Revlon's Colorstay Concealer in 'Light' a try.
I have mixed feelings about this product. It is good in that it is moisturizing and does not agitate the skin around my under eyes which is a common issue for me especially in the winter. At the same time though I have quite a few issues to share: it doesn't have good coverage, it creases very easily into my fine wrinkles, and it comes in a tube so is not sanitary (seems to be a common issue for Revlon).
The best way I found to use this product is to mix it with a heavier product such as my Makeup Forever Full Cover or Tarte's Marajuca concealer (which is totally awesome btw and I will be blogging about soon!). These concealers on their own are too heavy for your under eye area but work well when mixed in to Revlon's. Therefore, I will continue to use this concealer but would no recommend purchasing it if you were considering it.
This is after a number of applications of just the Revlon concealer:
Not impressed!

My Guide to Eyebrows - Pencil Technique
This will be the final post in my guide to brows because this is about all the tips I have to share for now! Hope I inspired you to try some new techniques ;)

The main difference I would say there is between using the powder method vs the pencil, is that the pencil gives you a more natural look. You are able to create wispy lines within your brows to fill them it whereas the powder really fills everything in and gives those bold brows we all seek!

Here I am using Annabelle's Eyebrow Pencil in Taupe which I have been a long time fan of. I like to start off by framing the upper line of my brow, followed by lining the lower line, and then gently filling in the middle portion.
The completed look:

I like to finish off by highlighting my brow bone with the only metallic in my Urban Decay Naked Basics palette (which I have been using daily btw and love!).
